In the 18th century, the Pazo de Mariñán went from being a military defense to a luxurious palace at the foot of the Betanzos estuary. 17 hectares where water, stone and nature dominate, forming a complex of incredible beauty. At the entrance to the property, through a narrow parade ground, we find this beautiful fountain with two stone jets. In front of it is a 160-year-old eucalyptus globulus , possibly one of the first to be planted in Galicia.
